Wracking My Brain for You

My random thoughts in a public forum...maybe they'll make you laugh, and just maybe they might give you something to look forward to. Enjoy!!

I am such a geek...you would not believe the geekiness that is me. That being said...I am not a nerd. Nerds are annoying and have no friends and while some (okay..many) may find me annoying, I have many friends.

WoW is wow

Just played Worlds of Warcratf at Jay's place this weekend and let me tell you, it is great. This could just be an occurence of the Brand-New Character syndrome, whereas everything to do with your new character is great and involving but I think not. WoW is so visually stunning with a great controls that it makes me weep that I have been sitting on my copy without a new video card for so long. I 'll be spending a lot more time at Jay's place whoring off of his computer to feed my growing WoW addiction...addiction you might ask? "But Drew...you've only played it once. How can you be addicted already?" The answer is simple, I can feel these things...just like I felt it when I started playing Achaea and speaking of Achaea, when I started playing it today I thought to myself "I want to play Warcraft instead of this text-based game." So there you have it...as soon as school is done in a week or two I'm going to get myself a video card so I can playt WoW at home.

Cheers all

List of Woe (shortened and Revised)

Darn...just tried to publish a long entry but it didn't work...long story short: I will occaisonally publish a List of Woe, will run a Forsaken game

List of Woe

Just a friendly warning that I may on occaison publish lists of woes. Today's woe...having out-dated wordprocessing on my computer... "send that again, Drew...can't read it" "try publishing in WordPad" etc. etc.. And cheap Video Cards...It says that I can play Worlds of Warcraft with my video card but can I? No... turns out the minimum requirements to play WoW is actually a little bit higher then it mentioned.

Related notes...probably will run a Werewolf: The Forsaken game over the summer...or maybe just in April and May. Anywho...that's all for now.

I return

I'm back...
I have to make a resume. I've never had to go througha real interview for a job before in my entire life. I got hired at Canada's Wonderland and just worked my way up from there but now we have to be interviewed before we can be promoted so I need a resume and everything. Sad times. But what if I screw the interview up? Then I'm stuck at a part-time job when I realy should at least be looking for a REAL job and I got no good prospects...again with the sad times.

On a happy note I have bought Werewolf: The Foresaken and despite my misgivings about the Werewolf line, I am very pleased with the book... Almost enough to make me consider running a game. I'm finishing a Vampire game, then I run Werewolf, then Mage and then I'll run a game where the players can be whatever.

BTW check out a text based MUD called Achaea

Bye all

The First Entry

Hola,

This is my first exploration into the wondeful world of Blogging...sad times that I feel the need to join the masses who are involved in this new medium. Sadly my uses for it are probably going to be limited to updates for any number of role-playing game updates to keep my players concurrent with the goings-ons, but that may mean that you, gentle reader, can follow the stories as they happen.

In related news, part of the drive for this blog came from a acquaintance of mine who started his Blog just recently...he's a real funny guy so check him out at http://oldschoolnobes.blogspot.com/

OH yeah...nuklearpower is great too....
